Les Ramsay is a Vancouver-based artist, who draws inspiration from the serene coastal landscape. Raised in White Rock, Ramsay’s artistic journey began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Emily Carr University, where he honed his skills and developed a deep appreciation for the intersection of art and everyday life. This experience broadened his artistic horizons and influenced his evolving creative process. In 2015, Ramsay attained a Master of Fine Arts in painting from Concordia University, further refining his craft and solidifying his unique artistic voice. His multidisciplinary approach combines elements of painting, sculpture, textile art, and digital drawing, reflecting his diverse interests and influences.
