Lot 45

Zachari Logan was born in 1980 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Through large-scale drawings, ceramics, paintings and installations, Logan evolves a visual language that explores the intersections between masculinity, identity, memory and place. Employing a strategy of visual quotation, Logan re-wilds his body as a queer embodiment of nature, shifting ideas of beauty, empirical explorations of landscape and overlapping art-historic motifs.

Logan has shown extensively in North America and Europe, most recently with The Flourishing Edge, commissioned by the Gardiner Museum (2024). He received his MFA from the University of Saskatchewan (2008). Logan’s work can be found in public and corporate collections across Canada and the U.S.
