In describing her work, Lindy Fyfe states: my work is process oriented, an intuitive investigation of colour, materials and movement. Using recycled fabric from clothing found at thrift shops, I serge knit fabric together before stretching it over a wooden frame. There is play and tension in the fabric as the work shifts in the process of its making. This [body of] work alludes to the history of modernist painting.
