Time makes the things that we build want very badly to unbuild themselves. Through its passage and activity – the building up of layers – this place has become one of many times and many people. According to Jean-Luc Lindsay, “for five years I wandered here, I collected it – its wobbles, skews, secret passages, and slants projected across the walls and into its corners. As I idled though it I found myself looking back on our collective impression. This place is a fluid, responsive record of quotidian lives lived, a place of deep memory.”
